Globalization of any sorts, whether food or not, is about the assimilation of different cultures and making them exist side by side with maximum mingling and integration of each into the other. McDonaldization, however, limits the cultural interaction to the dominance of the American culture on the others, and thus, makes no progress in interconnectedness among with global cultures.
