The first thing that came to my mind while reading and thinking about this article was "where there is a will there is a way". It is true that , it's all in the brain. We human beings have a superior brain and we actually can take control of certain things. The questions asked by the author in the beginning are really something to ponder upon. I agree that we all are faced with certain existential questions in some or the other phase of life. The article stresses on the importance of change as change is the only constant. If we are ready to change then it is possible for us to excel.
