Mouth is the medium through which there can be transmission of messages done in case of oral communication (Robbins & Coulter, 2014). In case of written communication, a writing medium like a pen or a pencil is the medium through which there can be the transmission of messages done (Robbins & Coulter, 2014). Exchanging of information is the first commonality between oral and written communication. There is the presence of a sender as well as a receiver in case of oral and written communication. In case of written communication, there is always the presence of a record of permanent nature about the occurrence of the communication.
