Chapter ten described the personality traits of a forecaster, which leaders should have and portray. Decision-making When an individual or group decides, it must be done deliberately and thoroughly. In chapter nine, the Bay of Pigs invasion is an example of quick and thoughtless decision-making. The Bay of Pigs invasion was planned quickly, costing the lives of fourteen hundred men. During the planning process, planners made changes that did not support the contingency plan.
