The occurrence of the 9/11 was a very big setback for the United States. The country, its citizens, lawmakers made it a point that no such incident is repeated ever again. A lot of changes happened in the American life. The Aviation and Transportation Security Act was passed by the Congress and as a result the Transportation security Administration was made. New machines and tighter security check started which many a time caused a lot of inconvenience for passengers. The repeated screening and specially seeing every Muslim passenger with a suspicious eye was also a negative side of this heavy security measures.
