As individuals, we are a part of a society, which is a larger structure that is filled with many individuals catering to different representational groups. We constantly go through different phases and ideologies to develop a particular outlook and thought that is acceptable and identified by the society we belong to. This transforms the needs of the society into the needs of the individuals and thus, shapes the process of developing one’s self, known as the socialization process. This self is both the identification of what one aspires to find a reflection of in others and what others might want as well.
