Selection measures are the criteria on which an organization makes the hiring decision. The process can be applied to internal and external recruitment, and it helps an organization find the right person for the job. The selection measures define the responsibilities and demands of the position that must be filled (Billikopf, 2016). Organizations can make their standards for selection and look for the person that seems right for the job. If there are any issues regarding the content of the job position, then the organization would have trouble selecting the right person. The hired employee would also face difficulty in fulfilling the role.
