The case of Adelphia: Good Works via a Hand in the Till, is a fraud case in which a character name John Rigas and his family made out in running Adelphia, which is one of the largest cable firm. In context to the case, Adelphia had been operating different cable companies in an about 32 states which had 5.7 million subscribers. John Rigas, being one of the owners of Adelphia had about 20% of Adelphia stock as the outcome of which it was able to withhold about 60% of the voting shares of the company but, he was into an ethical dilemma of which one to obtain actually (Jennings, n.d.).
