Advocate action by organizations, institutions, or audience members; ? Require special attention to evidence and reasoning. • Be organized using the motivated sequence. • Cover a topic that is relevant to your audience and has an arguable point of view. Remember that the target audience for your speech is your classmates. o You will conduct an audience analysis of your classmates in a discussion area during Unit 6. This will allow you to choose and refine your topic. • Conform to a 5-7 minute time frame. • Use at least 6 pieces of evidence from at least 4 different sources.
