Q Compare and contrast leadership development and management development. What interventions might you use to develop leaders and managers in your organization? Why?
Management development is a very broad concept which includes the overall development of the employees, mid-level managers, supervisors, and also the top leaders. All of them come under the purview of the organization’s management. Leadership management on the other hand focuses specifically on the leaders and their improvement. As concepts both of them focus on improvements with a view of organizational and personal development in mind.
