Education for Africa-American students was not at all easily accessible and they had to struggle a lot to achieve proper education. In the masterpiece, Dr Williams has thoroughly argued about how Black Americans themselves strive for achieving education. Despite all barriers, the black slaves were thoroughly dedicated about their education, and it has been evidenced that for the sake of education, the black people themselves established and ran schools. In the newly established schools, it was mostly evidenced that the black students mostly longed for extra-classes. The free black people mostly learned from each other and tried to achieve excellence and prominent success in education. It has been evidenced that in the newly established schools, the black people also arranged their resources and appointed local teachers who would teach them.
