M7 Activity 7 Motivation Podcast

Q "People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing, that’s why we recommend it daily." -Zig Ziglar For this assignment I want to give you some latitude to learn something about Motivation in the work place. I frequently listen to many different podcasts while driving or at work, home, etc. Yes, I know it sounds kinda nerdy;). Depending on my mood I enjoy a variety of podcasts ranging from philosophy, science, comedy, self-improvement, leadership, politics, health, etc. I enjoy hearing experts share their knowledge in a given field. They have frequently helped me gain a better understanding of many topics that I may not have otherwise been exposed to. 1. Do a simple web search of "Organizational Motivation Podcast" or "Leadership Motivation Podcast" 2. Choose a podcast that peaks your interest that is at least 30 minutes long. It can be a video (YouTube, etc) or audio format (I-Tunes, etc). Share the link. 3. Summarize the podcast in at least 200 words minimum. 1. What did you learn? 2. Did anything in particular resonate with you? 3. Did you gain any wisdom or pro-tips from the podcast that you could use in your own life/workplace? If you have trouble choosing a podcast, message me and I will recommend a few. I would rather you discover one that suites your specific interest though. You will be more apt to appreciate it and gain some knowledge in the process. Enjoy!

I chose an audio podcast titled “Leadership Relationships for Women Leaders | Sabrina Braham & Tim Warren | WLS100” (url: https://player.fm/series/womens-leadership-womens-career-development-business-executive-coaching-radio-podcast-by-sabrina-braham-ma-cpc-8033). I learned that it is important for women to be motivated to become effective future leaders for growing in organizations. The motivation for female leaders can come within their psyches by ensuring that failures are overcome with positivity. There must be failures considered by women to be opportunities of learning to succeed by rectifying past mistakes in organizational performance.
