Globalization helped the world become a smaller place and empires of the early modern era made a significant contribution to it. Explorations by China and Europe was massive to bring about globalization and opened up not only trade and human interactions but also established a pathway for new cultural and social diversity. Three examples of such empires that could be used as examples were the Ottoman Empire, the Mughal Empire, and the Chinese Empire.
