John Trimble in his Chapter 7 of Writing with Style says that “A readable style is one that invites reading. That circular…into personal taste” (Trimble). Trimble says that he requires two main things to keep reading any writing; the first is that the author has to be amusing and provide something interesting and new. Secondly, the author should not beat around the bush that much, id the author seems to be idling away too much it is natural that readers will lose their interest. Trimble also says that the writing should always have a natural and conversational rhythm to it; the writers should always feel that the writer is opening up to them, even emotionally if required.
