These ancient people occupied the region of Bagnoregio before the Romans, and the “cave” where legend says St. Francis healed this saint was one of their tombs. 14. Investment in Marsia stopped with the abandonment of these facilities. 15. This square in Rome is where Giordano Bruno was burned at the stake. 16. This man was assassinated where a modern neighborhood now stands, and the neighborhood itself maintains the shape of this ancient building. 17. These are the various uses for the Theater of Marcellus from ancient Rome through to today. 19. This was the center of Ancient Rome. 20. These two infamous leaders both had an historical connection to Piazza Venezia. 21. This is the oldest shopping mall in the world. 22. This temple get’s its name from the vengeance exacted upon the murderers of this famous Roman general and politician. 23. These 3 organizations dedicated to fighting world hunger (in different ways) were all founded in Rome.
