Q Instructions Most of you are likely already familiar with submitting work to Canvas, and if so, this won't take much time at all. Please submit a document here, as a .doc, .docx or .rtf file. (The content doesn't matter, but feel free to use this opportunity to post something fun about yourself, such as a timeline of five events that have led you to Montclair State University or a graphic or meme that represents something meaningful to you.) The key is to practice submitting the proper file type and to label each file for the semester in an appropriate and informative way. Typically, you should label each file with your last name, your first initial, and then some abbreviated title for the particular assignment. For example, my submission for this assignment would be: PetrichTSubmittingTutorial.doc. It's also very important to get used to discerning between Due Dates and "Available Until" Dates--every assignment will have a specific due date and time; the "available until" date and time indicates the latest possible submission time for that assignment to still earn some credit. (Excessive late assignments will negatively affect your course grade.) You can read about this in the Syllabus. If necessary, here is a link to a How-To (Links to an external site.) on Submitting Assignments from the Canvas Help Guide. PreviousNext
