Plato’s allegory of caves refers to the allegorical interpretation of human perception. Plato has used this allegory in the context of highlighting nature of philosophical education. It is therefore, the understanding about human perception. Plato has argued that knowledge which human gain from sensory experiences is never enough for getting a clear perception about this world. In order to have thorough understanding and insight about this world, one must equip himself with strong skills of reasoning.
