Some teenagers consider that having sex before marriage is unethical and many more believe they aren't ready for an intimate relationship. Most people have no intention of marrying anytime soon. While some individuals believe that abstinence programs are the sole moral option for sex education, these programs violate medical ethics by restricting access to essential health information (Santelli). Abstinence-only programs do not effectively educate young people for life or teach them how to avoid sexual activity. Medical ethics, on the other hand, contends that we should offer all knowledge to young people.
