‘The Real World’ is not Eurocentric. After going through the first chapter, I realized the Real World book is not at all Eurocentric. In the first chapter, the author has talked about what sociology is and how it tends to see the world and different culture individually and collectively. It has explained different disciplines of the sociology. It has talked about the development of sociological perspective by studying sociology. It talks about various sociologists and their individual views. Nothing in specific is mentioned about this book being Eurocentric. At least that is what I think after reading the first chapter. First chapter is more of an introduction based.
