The major problem oozed up from the fact that while the entire city of New York was struggling with the brutal forces of pandemic, the government was accused of hiding data and sending false information to the public regarding the cases of death and infection from the virus. The situation turned to be more complex when it came into notice that the numbers of deaths were under-reported (McKinley). This caused serious repercussion among the common citizen. During the time of pandemic, when fear and trauma prevailed over the common denizens of the country, the act of governor posed serious question regarding the overall health infrastructure of the country.
