Military service is a noble profession but it should not be made mandatory for eighteen-year-old kids to serve in the military for one year. At the age of eighteen, education and studies are more important. Educating the population about the military profession is much more important, which will prepare them to make a conscious decision whether to join the military service or not. Serving in the army for one year to reap benefits later is not the right way to motivate teenagers. Military service should not become compulsory for everyone. It is not justified to enroll teenagers who may not want to join the profession and have no interest in the military services.
