Due to intolerance of lactose they avoid consuming dairy productions in large numbers and to replace this they take tofu and soymilk. This have large amounts of calcium and protein. 3. How (if at all) does this diet differ from a Western-style diet? I believe that unlike people from the western cultures, they are not concerned about nutrition but instead focus on the aroma, color, flavor and texture in their food. All this are very important and crucial when cooking and food.
