1. Facts: The nervous system is divided into peripheral nervous system , which has afferent (sensory ) and efferent subdivisions , and central nervous system (CNS). Efferent neurons are either somatic motor neurons , which control skeletal muscles ,or autonomic neurons ,which control glands and smooth and cardiac muscles.
