ZZ Packer’s “Brownies” is an interesting short story that deals with summer camp. The following are the quotes that I liked from this short story. • “By our second day at Camp Crescendo, the girls in my Brownie troop had decided to kick the asses of each and every girl in Brownie Troop 909.” (1) The story begins with this line which is narrated by Snot and it is from the middle. Beginning from the middle is a unique way to write a story which is why I liked it so much. From the first sentence the readers get to know what the plot is all about. From this point onwards the details of the events were disclosed.
