Q We want to be able to apply the ideas, concepts, and theories from the chapter to "real world" sociological research; our JIGSAW assignments will help us do that. You have been assigned one reading from the excerpts at the end of the chapter to read. The groups that are reading and summarizing the articles this week are the: Hip Hellions and Merry Mischief Makers. You can review which group you are in. You can see what reading each group is doing on the Course Calendar. For the first part of this JIGSAW discussion: Provide a short (1-2 paragraph) summary of your article. Please review the "How to Write an Awesome Summary" information at the bottom of the page for resources about how to write a great summary. Remember: you will be graded on the quality of the summary that you provide.Your summary needs to clearly: Introduce the article's main topic or argument using an introductory sentence. Provide the main supporting evidence that the study finds or uses to support their point. Articulate the main findings or "so what" that the author finds in the conclusion of the piece. Share one interesting/provocative fact or idea from the article that you read. What about your article sparked your interest?
