Q All cells Express Hexokinase but only certain epithelial cells, Kidney cells and hepatocytes express glucose-6-phospate. What is the disparity?

Q The enteroendocrine cells of the duodenum produce Secretin and CCK. Explain how these hormones are involved in tailoring the digestion to what food components are available? Explain why ventilation perfusion coupling is essential for optimally efficient gas exchange? Explain how normal physiology is impacted by thoracic stab wound and how the problem could be ameliorated. What are some factors that reduce cilia activity in the airway epithelium and what could be the result of such impairments? -Liver is the site of production of blood glucose. It regulates the level of glucose. It makes glucose through two processes like glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis. There is association of glucose -6-phosphatase in the liver which signifies glucose-6-phosphatase and thus initiates the expression of bile duct. The bile duct cells proliferate during carcinogenesis of the liver cells. All cells have hexokinase while hepatocytes and kidney cell types have glucose-6-phosphatase due to their utility in these cells. Hexokinase uses glucose as its substrates. The process of phosphorylation like presence of hexokinase is limited to certain cells as it is restricted to certain intracellular metabolic processes.
