Though in present, the situation has transformed and African Americans are actively taking part in the election and such other political matters yet it was not the same scenario in years back. In the confines of the US political system which was heavily dominated by the whites, it was really difficult for the blacks to come up to acquire the basic rights that they actually should be having.
