As an athletic administrator, I think the most essential qualities an athletic administrator should have are open-mindedness, enthusiasm to learn new things and he or she must focus on how to grow and develop. An athletic administrator needs to play various roles. From staff management to fundraising, an athletic administrator needs to be efficient and focused on the job role he or she is playing on behalf of the team. The success of a sports event depends on how effectively the sports administrator is performing his or her duties.
