Q Assignment Instructions
Write one paragraph that summarizes what makes an effective closing statement. Write another paragraph with your thoughts about what you have read or learned?
Generally, an effective closing statement brings together all the pieces of a trial, story, or an article and tells a fascinating story. Typically, a closing statement or paragraph can include several things. Some of these are a summary of the evidence or points in your previous paragraphs or maybe common doubts that are or could be proven wrong to help persuade the reader. What makes a good closing statement, is being able to wrap up everything in your story or paper and leave the reader without any doubt on what he or she read. It should not include any information that was not discussed in the previous paragraphs. The end of an essay should convey a sense of completeness and closure.
