For this week’s journal we will cover chapter 13 “The Evolution of Physical Education: 1940 and Beyond” and chapter 14 “Sport in the Twentieth Century”. In the chapter 13 we will study about the changes that would occur in the field of physical education. These changes were brought by various wars and we will study this in the chapter 13. How the course of action changed in physical education when wars started. This chapter will talk about the combat sports that were promoted at the times of war instead of regular physical education classes. Also, this chapter talks about the physical educators both men and women who played important role during the Second World War.
