Konowaloff v. Metro. Museum of Art, 2011 WL 4430856 Fact Konowaloff was the only successor of the property of his grandfather Ivan Morozov, who originally belonged from Russia, and before the year 1920, he lived in Moscow. Before the initiation of World War 1, he had a modern art collection, which was the best at a time in Europe, and in the year 1911, he purchased a painting identified as “Portrait of Madame Cezanne” (Center for Art Law., 2012).
