Accident details and discussion: Collision between China Southern Aircraft and a Kuwait Airways vessel. Two planes made a collision on the tarmac at the John F. Kennedy Airport. A strong Northeast winter storm had wreaked havoc on the east coast and had caused too many flight delays. The right wing of China Southern aircraft grazed the tail of a vessel of Kuwait Airways. This caused damage to both planes. The Kuwait Airways plane was parked ahead of takeoff when the two planes collided.
