In the article titled “Culture as Culprit: Four Steps to Effective Change” there is a discussion about the two different concepts of culture being attacked and ‘culture trap’ (“Culture as Culprit: Four Steps to Effective Change”, 2017). There is a connotation that culture is important for maintaining the structure as well as the overall process of a particular organization, especially the branded organizations like Wal-Mart. It is important to understand that there will always be several employees in a particular organization who would want to develop countercultures as well as subcultures within the workplace. This implies that there is bound to be small groups of countercultures and subcultures developing within the internal infrastructures of the global business organizations.
