Q Assignment Content 1. The term “culturally responsive instruction” has been around for a couple of decades but is getting more attention in recent years. With our classrooms growing more and more diverse every year, teachers are interested in how they can best teach students from different backgrounds. Imagine you are a new 3rd grade social studies teacher in a city public school where your classes consist of a culturally and socioeconomically diverse mix of students. Since this is a new environment for you in terms of instruction and classroom management, you research to learn about strategies and practices that have worked well for other educators in practicing culturally responsive instruction. You put these new methods to use and find that your classroom experiences have improved for your students as well as yourself. Fellow teachers have expressed interest in learning more about the methods, and you offer to present what you have learned. Create a 6- to 8-slide presentation that provides information about creating culturally responsive instruction and maintaining a culturally responsive classroom environment. Follow APA format and guidelines, where applicable with a minimum of 2 references, free of grammar and spelling errors. Late submissions up to four days with a 10% deduction.
