After reading the findings by Daniel Siao, I was surprised to find out that there had been an increase in maintenance-related accidents to 100%. This is surprising because there is a lot of money spent in setting up maintenance units and in buying maintenance operational tools/machines/devices. Moreover, there is a lot of money spent for paying the salaries of maintenance technicians in the aviation industry. There are training costs which are incurred at high levels. Another surprising aspect was that there had been the representation of small repair stations in majority while large repair stations had been 30% of the overall percentage of repair stations.
