When the different products in a supply chain and logistics management are grouped in master cartons into one unified physical unit, it is known as the process of unitization (Bowersox, Closs, Cooper & Bowersox, 2012). There is an enclosure which is provided by rigid devices or rigid containers. This enclosure is helpful and assistive because within this enclosure is the attachment and the unitization of the master cartons or even the unitization of the loose products involved in a supply chain and logistics management for an organization.
