I think that extreme competition from rival forces in the target market industries of the airline and the transportation industries in the different parts and in the different countries of the global world is something which the air transportation carriers and shippers face on a regular basis. This is because every airline organization wants to prove to the customers (both internal as well as domestic) that the quality of service provided by every airline organization is better than the other. There is a superiority complex which is working within the psyches of organizational managers and the other organizational members of the airline organizations and the individuals involved in handling the air transportation carriers and shippers.
