This week's reading of chapters seven and eight highlighted critical forecasting perspectives. Making a forecast takes excellent knowledge, experience, and expertise, but updating it can be just as taxing. Chapters seven and eight described several scenarios that were captivating and relatable in life. In chapter seven, a takeaway that caught my attention was the impacts of underreaction and overreaction behaviors. In chapter eight, two takeaways I related to was the idea of trying to become better and a person's character of grit to achieve goals. Although these three takeaways impacted the development of forecasters, these are traits people grow up developing and embrace through life.
