Q How does a company’s product (or service) mix influence which competitive strategy (or strategies) it selects? Would a manufacturer approach selecting its competitive strategy differently from a consulting company?
I feel that it is extremely important for every company to understand the type or the genre of business in which the company might be operating into. This is important from the perspective of understanding what is required to be done in order to identify the need for a specific competitive strategy to be juxtaposed with an influence of the particular chosen products and/or service of the organization.
