Touch and warmth play a great role in both formal and informal communication. The hug survey has shown that hugs tend to have some positive implications on human relationships and human communication. After completing this survey, I came to know that giving hugs at appropriate situations however could also contribute in making relationships easier and comfortable among the people. In this regard, another thing I would like to inform is that when to give hugs to the individual on the other side depends mostly on the intensity and importance of the concerned situation (Young, 2012). However, there is no doubt that if these hugs and these kinds of intimate gestures are used properly, it helps a lot in improving the quality and tenacity of relationships.
