The evidence of idolatry can be found in the Greek art because of the presence of statues worshipped as deities (Moore, 2019). One example is the sculpture of Zeus Philios in which there had been the presence of Greek God Zeus who is observed to be glorified, worshipped and shown the highest level of importance (Moore, 2019). Another example is the painting of Athena in which there is clear evidence of being powerful with extraordinary and superhuman qualities of providing assistance during warfare (Moore, 2019). There had been courage and wisdom gained by the Greeks by getting inspired from and worshipping Athena (Moore, 2019).
