Propaganda means the use of mass media to persuade people into something. The use of propaganda in this persuasion is both good and bad, so one cannot say anything about its effect. There were many events in the history of the United States that were heavily relied upon the use of propaganda to persuade people. American Revolution was the event where newspaper and pamphlet played the important role. They hyped the sacrifices made by people in Lexington and Concord and celebrated the victory of George Washington’s Army.
