In a virtual team, the physical communication is substantially less than a traditional team, so the team should be composed in such a way they would use the virtual communication at an optimum level. The success of a virtual team depends highly on the team composition. For an example, a larger virtual team with many members is relatively more unstable and has less success rate than a smaller virtual team. Some of the impacting factors of the team composition have been discussed in this section.
