The term UDL refers to Universal design for learning which primary aim is to create an educational framework, on the basis of research and learning sciences which would also be appropriate for fostering flexible learning environment and learning spaces suitable for accommodating individual differences in the context of teaching and learning. The entire framework for Universal Design for Learning is however guided by three major principles which broadly includes engagement, representation along with action and expression (Rogers-Shaw, Carr-Chellman & Choi, 2018).
