Conflict management is a topic that is integral to every organization and once at least every employee has faced something or the other related to managing and resolving disputes, does not matter of what kind, but surely conflicting in nature. I remember in my last firm, our logistics team was negotiating a deal with the vendors for an emergency delivery of consignment at a new location, but since the holidays were about to start and they were not in the mood to work, they were asking for unnecessary prices to complete the work. This made no sense and in no way was the company ready to make losses before the holidays. So in came the supervisor and started offering a negotiation that would be beneficial to the sides.
