For the past two weeks I have been trying to find information on rice and it was extremely shocking to know that if the issue of global warming continues then in the next twenty years rice production will not be possible at all. It was earlier pointed out that rice production is associated with particular socio-economic conditions which greatly vary from one country to another. It is due to urbanization and change in the climate, water and land resources in Asia are no more the same as it used to be years ago. As a result, it has been noted that the rate of growth of rice is declining at a steady rate. It is high time that people start thinking about it and do something to cater to the rice demands in the future.
