The drawbacks of relying on informal on-the-job training for helping the new employees involve the low productivity, errors in the production, and the disturbance. Even the on-job –training has be evaluated as expensive training program also. There can be several possibilities of accidents also. The current employees can be disturbed for the supervisors and the trainees. The informal training has been also proved as less efficient also as the mangers and the supervisors spend a great amount of time for recalling the training techniques and requirements (Dessler 2006). There are no goals or the evaluation for the on-job-training.
