In the scholarly journal article “Gender discrimination in workplace and depressive symptoms in female employees in South Korea” the authors have discussed about the problem of gender bias that is prevalent in Korean workplaces and its immense impact of the mental health of the female employees. A study has been carried out here to point out the relationship between depressive symptoms in female employees and workplace gender discrimination that existed. What has been noted finally was the direct and high level of connection between female employees suffering from depression and workplace gender discrimination in South Korea (Kim et al., 2022).
