Q RRJ Discussion Four Reminder: Guidelines for weekly Reflection Posts and Responses: Throughout the semester you will engage in asynchronous threaded discussions to discuss what you have learned and how to apply it in your own research. Here are the criteria for the reflection/responses. Minimum 500 words for the initial post and 250 for each response; use the same terminology found in the textbook; answer the prompts below, and respond to at least two classmates’ posts. Make sure all your posts are free from grammatical, spelling, and mechanical errors. Use APA in-text citation when citing material from the text. Make sure to address each chapter listed in the response. To earn full credit: Discussion posts and responses to classmates' are completed on time. I suggest that you use a Microsoft word document to write your post and then copy and paste it directly into the discussion thread. Do not use attachments for the discussion posts. The purpose of reflections is to provide you with furthering your research and to think about what direction to take the issue/topic. ________________________________________ Here is the reflection topic for this week: As you have completed the Broader Community Study , you have had an opportunity to think about how authors compile information to write an academic article. The next assignment will ask you to analyze how an article has been written. Use this reflection to review the collected articles from the Broader Community Study and think about which ones were the most useful in conducting your own research. Discuss how the authors use the research to help serve the community they are representing. Review at least two of your articles, one of which you will later use in the next assignment. Benefit: This reflection should help you start to think about what information you are going to include in the Multimodal Community Product/Tool and the Infographic you design for your presentation.
