Jackson argued for Indian Removal. His main aim was to gather the native lands east of Mississippi so that settlements can develop their and mainly because gold was found in the tribal lands of Cherokee. But to justify his act he said that this removal will help the area to develop rapidly as the population will grow along with wealth and power. On the other hands, the women were against the removal because they felt this was against the American character that vowed to protect the native in its constitution.
